Free Software Club of Kirksville

Welcome!

FSCK is a group of free software users where you can seek for help and help people in using and promoting free software (no matter you're using Windows or Linux). Needless to say, we have the best persons with knowledge on computer software out there in Kirksville :-).

First Club Meeting Plan & InstallFest.

Newcomers: If you want your laptops/desktops to be converted from evil to humanity: get ready, back up all your valuable data, conceal everything that you don't want others to see ;-), bring them in (12pm-4:30pm on Sunday September 14th, VH1200.) The first club meeting will be Tuesday Sept. 09 - you're invited to come and hang out with us. From Dr. Don:

I've been talking to Carl. Our first meeting of the Semester
will be from 6-7pm on Tuesday September 9th in vh1200. Tell your
friends and come hang out. The agenda for the meeting will be
getting generally re-acquainted and planning for an InstallFest
on Sunday.

Due to perceived demand there will be an early InstallFest this
semester from 12pm-4:30pm on Sunday September 14th in vh1200.
We'll want to get the word out and plan for that.

Firefox!

Firefox 3. The world record is set.

Firefox 3, the best open-source browser to date was out and set a new record on number of download per day. If you don't have one yet, why don't you grab one by clicking the firefox icon on the right navigation bar?

PS: And yes, Mozilla robotic overlods will protect you from evil's websites.
